Visakhapatnam: Aligning with the CSR policy guidelines for public engagement, a CSR stakeholders’ meet was organised by NTPC Simhadri Super Thermal Power Station on Friday.

The event aimed to foster collaboration in community development activities was attended by the sarpanches from project affected villages of Simhadri, including Vadacheepurupalli, Rawada, Naidupalem, Mutyalammapalem, Tikkavanipalem, Vennelapalem, Kalapaka and Parawada.

B B Patra, Head of HR, welcomed the CSR stakeholders and emphasised the significance of the meeting as a platform for interactive communication. He urged everyone to collaborate in the execution of developmental activities, fostering a more fruitful approach. This collective effort, he noted, will maximise the benefits that villages derive from the CSR initiatives of NTPC Simhadri.

Sanjay Kumar Sinha, Head of Project, NTPC Simhadri, expressed gratitude for the successful operation of the NTPC-Simhadri Power Station, highlighting the cooperative efforts of the surrounding communities. He underscored the importance of local leaders mobilising youth for participation in CSR-driven skill development programmes.

Sinha also emphasised that community needs are addressed in alignment with a structured policy and transparent communication.
